HPC SCRT-1 Tool

For Schlage "A" Line Locksets Removing a cylinder cap from Schlage "A" line locksets is a snap with this tool. Use it with the cylinder in or out of the knob. With the cylinder out, merely depress the cap pin and turn. With the cylinder in the knob, slide tool over tailpiece and depress knob. Then, turn the tool slightly to depress the knob retainer. This tool saves time and tempers.

The Cylinder Cap Removal Tool makes easy work of servicing Schlage A-Line cylinders
Use the pin on the tool to depress the cap pin and turn to the left to remove the cap
With the cap off, the plug can be removed and re-keyed
